At Iced Images Cakes we absolutely love making wedding cakes and will truly enhance your big day.
The design of Wedding cakes design is truly down to the individual, as the bride and often the groom often have very specific ideas of what they wants for their big day.
As an experienced Wedding cake maker and decorator based here in Kent, Iced Images are able bring your ideas to life.
For Wedding Cakes we offer the following types of cake bases:-
Moist fruit cake - a rich fruit cake lovingly soaked in copius amounts of brandy,
Vanilla Genoese sponge - madagascan vanilla sponge
Chocolate Genoese sponge - rich chocolate cake
Death by chocolate cake - a rich chocolate fudge cake
Lemon sponge - a lusciously lemon tangy sponge
Red velvet sponge - a deep red coloured chocolate flavoured sponge
Carrot cake - moist carrot cake full of sultanas, carrots and nuts.
If you choose to have a multiple tiered wedding Cake, each tier can be a different flavour, all tiers can be sponge or you can have a combination of fruit or sponge. It is not necessary to have the fruit layer as the bottom tier, in fact these days we often put the fruit tier if one is chosen at the top as it is the smallest tier. The choice is entirely yours!
As each of our Wedding cakes are designed, made and decorated on an individual basis, it is very difficult to provide accurate pricing guide. Details of our pricing can be found on our pricing page, however for an accurate quotation we suggest that you get in touch with us, and come to visit it us at our home studio in Kent, for a Wedding Cake Design Consultation which will include tasting our cake bases. Our sponge wedding cakes come filled with buttercream and covered in chocolate ganache and sugarpaste, and our fruit wedding cakes come brandy soaked and covered with white marzipan and sugarpaste. Additional decoration is down to you to choose and can include sugar flowers, personalised cake toppers, ruffles, frills to name but a few.
We are highly trained and are able to offer traditional Royal Iced fruit wedding cakes. Prices are available upon request.
Iced Images also offer "fake tiers" where by polystyrene dummy cakes are used on one or more tiers. The polystyrene dummies from the outside will look exactly the same as the real wedding cakes, but may reduce the cost slightly and the the number of portions. This is a great idea if you want the "statement" cake but without lots of cake to eat if you are having a more intimate wedding!
Delivery and set up of your cake is included in the price for a local Wedding (within 10 miles of our studio in Ditton, Kent). Alternatively your cake can be delivered further afield across Kent and South East at extra cost or collected prior to the big day. See our Terms and Conditions page for more information or contact us directly.
